If you’ve been looking to verify the validity of the advertised betting systems that claim to be able to beat the game of Roulette, then look no further because all the claims are false. Regardless of what roulette betting strategies you use, the house still has the same advantage over you as it has always done. In other words, you’ll still be up against a 2.6% house advantage if you’re playing on European tables and 5.26% on American roulette tables.

However, this does not mean you can’t win with roulette betting. In short, this article will briefly describe the various betting strategies there are and at the end, you’d be able to see which one gives you a better chance of winning compared to the others.

Types of Roulette Betting:

There’re several types of roulette betting strategies but each one is classified into one of the two major bets available; that is outside bets or inside bets. Below are some of the bets as they’re classified.

Outside bets

- Other outside bets as far as roulette betting is concerned are: Red or Black, Low or High numbers, and Even or Odd bets. Each of these gives you the possibility of winning with roulette.

Inside bets

- One Number Straight up – some people refer to this as the simplest of all roulette bets. It requires players to place their bet on any one of the 38 numbers on the table so as to get a chance to win at 35 to 1. Looks simple but can be hard to come by sometimes.

- Two numbers Split Bet – Assuming two numbers are beside each other on a table, you can place your bet on both to result in what is referred to as a ‘split bet’.
